The best new edgy brands finished S/S 2016 season on the Paris Fashion Week

During Paris Fashion Week Ukrainian designers achieved a new breakthrough along with the other new upcoming brands from Georgia, Russia, Armenia, Thailand and The United Kingdom. The main platform for that was showroom of More Dash Paris, opened by international agency for designers` sales and promotion. Thanks to More Dash Agency designers Anna K, Anna October, Anton Belinskiy, Alisa Kuzembaeva, OMELYA, Marianna Senchina, THEO, Palson Kifot, Anouki, Lalo Cardigans, N-DUO, Rotsaniyom, Tatjana Anika, Vardoui Nazarian, Jealousy, Bevza had an opportunity to present their collections to the world-wide mass media and buyers.

In the S/S 2016 season showroom presented 16 brands, the platform was increased by 5 times, the amount of participants was increased by 2 times and the amount of buyers visiting and ordering was increased by 4 times: More Dash Paris showroom was visited by more than 100 buyers in S/S16 season. Ukrainian brands haven`t had such a successful finish of the season yet.

More Dash successfully finished S/S 2016 season, which we started with Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days in Kiev in the beginning of September 2015. During the work of the showroom in Paris designers got orders and attention from the best stores of the world. Designers presented their collections to the buyers of Collete, Browns, Harvey Nichols, Rare Market, Matches Fashion, Selfridges, Intermix, Moda Operandi, Joseph, Al Ostura, Liger and many others. In the next season More Dash will continue internatonal expansion and enlarge package of services for designers, who demonstrate growth according to work results with More Dash. The name of the showroom and agency is not only a title, but always the guide to the action, our moto. I think that the grand step, which Anna October had in this season and Anton Belinskiy and Anna K have done in previous seasons, will be a vivid example of the growth for every designer”, – comments Natalia Modenova, managing partner of More Dash Agency.

“Anna K makes 4 big collections per season, each has 50-80 and more garments. Such collection need a lot of space. The new location of More Dash surprised me – it was huge and two-storeyed, so every designer had his own individual space and nobody disturbed each other. Also it was very convenient for every buyer to make the orders from collections. We have more buyers in this season and such a thing happens every time so I`m satisfied with the result and communication with buyers inspires me a lot. Without losing any time I have already started to make new Pre-Fall and Fall collections”, – commented Anna K, designer.

Furthermore, traditional cocktail of the More Dash showroom also took a place in Paris. Every season a lot of editors, stylists and fashion players come to the meeting with designers. In this season the guests of the evening were: fashion expert Julie Gilhart, digital influencers Eleonora Carisi and Linda Tol, fashion community lead at Instagram Kristen Joy Watts, president and editorial director of Condé Nast International Karine Dobrotvorskaya, fashion director of Vogue Russia Olga Dunina, managers of LMVH Prize Mark Alizar and Sophie Brocart, stylists of Vogue US, Grazia Italy team and a lot more.

“The visit of main LVMH team was very important for us, as well as of such people as main editors and consultants at the level of Julie Gilhart. We are happy that, despite such a busy schedule of Paris Fashion Week, our More Dash cocktail was attended by Karine Dobrotvorskaya, Mark Alizar, Olga Dunina, Eleonora Carisi and Linda Tol”, – told Daria Shapovalova, creative director of Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days and co-founder of More Dash Agency.

Everyhing was so nice and I liked the organizaton. Our showroom was visited by a lot of buyers and I was busy all the time discussing and receiving orders. I hope that next season will be no less successful”, – comments Anna October, designer.

“It was our first season in More Dash showroom in Paris and, despite this fact, our collection made a great furore among buyers, mass media and bloggers, who were were debating on who will wear our apparel for the street-style during Paris Fashion Week. Moreover, the most famous Ukrainian designer Anna K was invited in this season by the organizers of Milan Fashion Week – Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana to show her S/S 2016 collection within the new initiative Fashion Hub Market. During 5 days, from 23 to 28 of September, Anna K collection was represented in Uni Credit Pavilion, next door to the Balenciaga, Manolo Blahnik and Stellа McCartney. Anna K neighbours in the pavillion were fashion designers from different countries – Italy, China, France. It was a great opportunity for the every brand to show its works to the mass media and buyers.

Ukraine finishes the fashion season and getting ready for the next season of the international fashion week – Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days F/W 16-17, which will take place in February of 2016.

Ukraine for the first time opened fashion marathon S/S 2016 before main fashion weeks in USA, Great Britain, Italy and France and claimed that Kiev is the fifth fashion capital, where designers from all over the world can show their collections within the international fashion week – Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days, get promo from the international press and get first orders from buyers.
