BIAYNI by VAHAN KHACHATRYAN
BIAYNI by VAHAN KHACHATRYAN is the second line of designer Vahan Khachatryan
aimed at a younger and broader audience, with a more colorful, girly and affordable
product. The SS18 collection was presented in Ukraine during Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days and was met with big interest by local and international press. The idea behind the SS18 line is re-living one’s memories of the 90s generation. How clothing can bring back positive memories from youth and rejuvenate to a person through visual perception. Designer wants to make girls in 2018 to re-live that feeling.
For their SS18 collection, designers Dima Chayun and Anton Yakshyn of the brand CHAKSHYN used the Renaissance period as their main source of inspiration. In contrast, designers juxtapose Renaissance to contemporary art that questions the its own essence: “Does art really exist?” “What is art?” “What is art’s purpose? Exploring further the interaction between entirely different things, designers have built their collection around contrasts and contradictions: feminine and masculine, soft and harsh, overly theatrical and utilitarian.
Starting the work on the 2018 cruise collection, designer turned to the inspiring
aesthetics of origami art, which is reflected in tailoring and chosen fabrics.
Every look seems to be weightless and light what is achieved by means of using silk, organza and atlas. Moreover , style of the collection is worth mentioning: the designer calls for the establishment of dualism in clothes.
Each item in the collection is an unique sample, each drawing is handmade by designer what makes each look to be a little piece of art. Factive Face is a kind of appeal to become able to consider the diversity of the world, to believe in miracles and achieve harmony in style.

« La Femme Terrible » is the new SS’18 collection by NASTASIA KLIMT which attracts
you with its rebel spirit. The designer finds the perfect representation of «La Femme
Terrible» in one of Ayn Rand’s characters – Dominique Frankon from the Fountain, and Rand is Femme fatale herself. The collection does not only speak about femininity or romance, it goes way deeper. Satin, chiffon and crepe are the main materials of the collection. These fabrics create a feeling of weightlessness and airiness by touch. All the styles of the collection were created in a such a way that the moves are not constrained and the fabric gracefully folds when you walk. “La Femme Terrible” is shy at the first sight, but looks are deceiving: her character is
strong and her mind is daring. She does not pay attention to the challenges of society, and
by turning away from persistent sights she only makes her life easier and focuses on things that are way more important.
